We use a converted full-frame camera that captures infrared images up to 1070 nm. For example, a graphite X beneath thick red paint is not visible in normal light, but it appears clearly in infrared..
Do you sell ready made frames?
No. We do not sell ready made frames. All frames are made to order.
Do you provide valuations or appraisals?
No. We are not licensed to provide valuations and we do not give opinions on the financial value of objects. Our role is limited to conservation assessment and treatment, and we have no involvement in the market value of works under our care.

Yes. We carry professional indemnity insurance with cover up to £250,000.
What if my artwork is worth more than insurance cover?
If your artwork exceeds £250,000, please tell us before we take it into our care. We will notify our insurer and arrange the appropriate additional cover with our provider before the item is collected or accepted.
What is your lead time for framing ?
Our usual lead time is two weeks. If you have a specific deadline, please tell us before you place your order and we will confirm what is possible.
How can I contact you?
You can contact us via the contact form on our website or by email. We aim to reply within one to three working days.
Do you provide condition reports and documentation?

Once treatment has been agreed and completed, we provide a full treatment report. This includes a record of the materials, methods, and work to be carried out.
Are consultations confidential?
Yes. All client information and object documentation are treated as confidential unless you agree otherwise.
